Clemson's ACC Championship Game Odds Rise After Beating Pitt

According to FanDuel Sportsbook, Clemson’s odds of winning the conference title have moved from +230 to +160, putting them behind only Wake Forest (+140). The Tigers had been considered underdogs entering Saturday’s game, but their dominant performance has changed the landscape.

Clemson’s defense stifled Pittsburgh’s previously prolific offense, holding them to just 10 points and 249 total yards. The Tigers also forced four turnovers, including two interceptions by cornerback Nate Wiggins.

“Our defense was absolutely lights out tonight,” said Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney. “They put in a phenomenal performance and set the tone for the game.”

The Tigers’ offense also came alive against Pitt. Quarterback DJ Uiagalelei threw for 268 yards and three touchdowns, while running back Will Shipley rushed for 105 yards and two scores.

“We’re starting to click on the offensive side of the ball,” said Uiagalelei. “We’re executing the game plan and making big plays when we need them.”

Clemson will face Wake Forest in the ACC Championship Game on December 3. The Demon Deacons are a formidable opponent, but the Tigers’ momentum could be a major factor.

“We’re excited about the opportunity to play for the ACC championship,” said Swinney. “We know Wake Forest is a great team, but we’re confident in what we can do.”

If Clemson can defeat Wake Forest, they will likely earn a berth in the College Football Playoff. The Tigers are currently ranked No. 9 in the CFP rankings, and a win in the conference championship game would likely boost them into the top four.
