Fatal Shooting In Sullivan County Under Investigation
The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a fatal shooting that occurred during a burglary attempt. According to officials, a 911 call came in at approximately 11:00 a.m. from the 300 block of Buffalo Road in Bluff City.
As deputies were en route to the scene, the caller informed dispatchers that shots had been fired and that the individual attempting to enter the home had been struck by gunfire. The suspect, who was an adult male, was later pronounced dead at the scene.
