Body Of Robert Ho Identified; Arrests Made In Connection With Killing
The body of a missing Hawaii woman’s father has been found in Los Angeles, and police say they have made multiple arrests in connection with his killing.
Police said they identified Ho’s body through dental records. The cause of death has not yet been determined, but police said it appears Ho was killed at the home where his body was found.
All five suspects have been charged with murder. They are scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
Motive Still Under Investigation
Police said the motive for Ho’s killing is still under investigation. However, they said they believe Ho was killed because he had information that could have implicated one or more of the suspects in other crimes.
Ho’s family is asking for privacy at this time.
Neighbors Express Shock And Sadness
Neighbors in the Boyle Heights neighborhood said they were shocked and saddened to hear about Ho’s death.
“He was a nice man,” said one neighbor, who did not want to be identified. “He always waved and said hello when he saw me.”
Another neighbor said she saw police activity at the home where Ho’s body was found on several occasions in recent weeks.
“It’s scary to think that something like this could happen in our neighborhood,” she said.
